What Happens after I submit a RFQ (Request for Quote) ?

 After you submit an RFQ I wil look it over and contact you if I have any questions. If the documentation you supplied is enough to start then I will email you back a quote within 2 days. All quotes are good for 30 days. If you don't agree with this quote  Please send me an email outlining the problem. I will respond with a second quote within 2 days. Please keep in mind with every new quote the due date will be adjusted back. 

Once the due date, extras and fee have been agreed upon your job will be logged. 

Once down payment has been received I will schedule/start the job. 

If there are any problems you will be notified immediately by phone or email.

Of course if your situation changes (like the due date) you or your company will get a full refund. If I am over half-way complete their might be a refund fee and you will get what I have finished.

 What brand of cad software do I use?

I use CAD software named BricsCAD. It produces .DWG files. BricsCAD is very common in Europe and Asia and used by several corporations.

If you want your drawing made in another brand of CAD software, such as Autocad or Solid Works, no problem. Just let me know and I will see what it takes to make your drawing in the software of your choice. Both those CAD packages can be rented for small projects. (BE ADVISED SOLIDWORKS IS VERY EXPENSIVE!) If you have software and want me to use it, no problem! 

I can also convert files to other formats as well.

 How long will you keep my drawing after it is done?

I generally keep drawings archived for 6 months. If you want them deleted, no problem, just let me know. There is a section of the RFQ that will log your wishes.

How long have you been working in CAD ?

I learned to Draft in High School (1979 - 81). I learned to use Auto CAD (2D) in 1988.

How do I request drawing samples ?

Send me an email and let me know what type of drawing you wanna see and I will send you a link to my Chuck's CAD website. I probably have a sample of what you want because I have 40 years of samples.
